Web Surfers Don’t Read Very Much
You know this already. Most people don’t read website text very closely. According to usability guru Jakob Nielsen, they just scan the text.
Well, Nielsen’s team just provided further proof of this with an eyetracking study. They’ve also shown that web surfers only read about 20% of the text.
I’d say more, but you probably won’t read it.
